Job summary

Georgetown Massage & Bodywork is seeking a licensed massage therapist for a part-time, on-site role at our Georgetown location and a Falls Church, VA practice. You will treat clients seeking therapeutic bodywork, pain relief, improved mobility, and stress reduction.

The position emphasizes customized sessions, client assessments, SOAP notes, and teamwork with front desk and therapists in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active DC and/or Virginia massage therapy license or currently in the licensing process.
• Strong skills in Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage.
• Knowledge of anatomy and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized massage treatments.
• Conduct client assessments and maintain brief SOAP notes.
• Communicate effectively with clients and with front desk and therapy team.
• Collaborate with front desk and therapy team to ensure cohesive care.
• Maintain professional, clean, and well-organized treatment space.

Role Description

We're seeking a skilled, licensed massage therapist to join our Georgetown team and our Falls Church location in a part-time, on-site position.

You'll work with a diverse, established clientele seeking therapeutic bodywork, pain relief, improved mobility, and stress reduction.

Responsibilities include providing customized massage treatments, conducting client assessments, maintaining brief SOAP notes, communicating effectively with clients, and working collaboratively with our front desk and therapy team.

Qualifications

• Active DC and/or Virginia massage therapy license or currently in the licensing process
• Strong skills in Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage

• Additional specialties such as sports massage, prenatal, lymphatic drainage, or myofascial work are a plus
