Senior Care Therapy is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our mission of providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted livings throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with standards using our electronic medical/health system (EHR).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state applying for.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with technology, including EHR systems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes away.
• Ability to walk, stand, and move within the facility throughout the day.
• Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a geriatric, long-term care, or subacute healthcare setting.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
• Psychology or addictions experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
