Senior Care Therapy is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to provide in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

We work collaboratively with facility staff to improve outcomes for residents and care teams, committed to high-quality psychological services and staying ahead of regulations, needs, and trends.

We handle all administrative tasks—billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications—so you can focus on providing exceptional clinical care!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy in skilled nursing or subacute facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our electronic health record system.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of practice.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with technology and EHR systems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with regulatory compliance awareness.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities within 45 minutes.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and move within facilities.
• Full vaccination and booster may be required at some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in subacute, long-term, or geriatric healthcare settings.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
• Psychology or addiction experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
