Senior Care Therapy is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our mission of providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted livings throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in skilled nursing or subacute facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, patient-specific treatment plans.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using our electronic medical/health record system.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of practice.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with technology, including EHR systems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with compliance awareness.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities within a 45-minute radius.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and move within the facility.
• Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in geriatric, long-term, or subacute healthcare settings.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
• Psychologist or addiction treatment experience is a plus.
