Job summary

Senior Care Therapy, LLC is seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team in Evesham, New Jersey. You will provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute and long-term care settings, collaborating with facility staff to improve mood, functioning and quality of life.

We handle billing, credentialing and pre-certifications, giving you time to focus on evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license to practice LMFT in state applying for.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in SNF/subacute facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards using the EHR.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our mission of providingin-personpsychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted livings throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in State applying for.
• Effective oral and written communication in English
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
• Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
• Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
• History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.
• Psych or Addictions experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
