Job summary
Daniels Health in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment, including the robotic washline, autoclaves, boilers, and related systems. You will oversee daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility by directly leading custodial and maintenance staff.
Maintenance Engineers and boiler operators start up, regulate, repair, and shut down equipment, monitor controls, and perform routine maintenance.
Qualifications
- Must have third-grade stationary engineers license and maintain status during employment.
- Experience maintaining electro-mechanical equipment including boilers, autoclaves, and production gear.
- Ability to supervise entry-level maintenance staff is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Daily hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, service, and repair of on-site equipment.
- Communicate with Service and Engineering to arrange spare parts, travel schedules, and support.
- Assemble, align, and install equipment and upgrades while respecting timelines and budgets.
- Provide 24/7 monitoring of equipment with rapid remote or on-site response.
- Routinely inspect equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Manage a team of 2-3 custodial and entry-level maintenance specialists.
- Coordinate downtime with facility leadership for maintenance activities.
- Record data and maintain logs for weekly reports.
