Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency.
• Four (4) years of related work experience, which may include apprenticeship toward a state license.
• FOR ELECTRICIAN: Massachusetts journeyman electrician’s license.
• FOR HVAC: Massachusetts refrigeration license and EPA 608/CFC certification.
• FOR Plumbing: Massachusetts journeyman plumber license.

Responsibilities

• Tests, repairs, installs and/or maintains electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoots electrical and related equipment using schematics and diagrams.
• Provides preventative maintenance to equipment, machinery, and tools.
• Maintains an adequate inventory of equipment and materials.
• Schedules and escorts contractors and coordinates with facilities staff.
• Installs, repairs, alters and maintains HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
