Job summary

Walmart in Temecula, CA is seeking a dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our Facility Services team. You will help maintain and upgrade low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and high quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include addressing customer inquiries, performing installations and repairs, and maintaining detailed records. Preferred certifications include NICET, OSHA, and networking qualifications, with both technical and safety competencies emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold and maintain jurisdiction-required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations within the last three years.
• Commercial driving record with no preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle within the last three years.
• Commercial driving record with no serious traffic violations within the last three years.
• Ability to read and speak in the English language.
• Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related technical trade.
• Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Experience in local electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
• Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs
• Evaluate existing systems to determine if upgrades or enhancements are needed
• Perform system upgrades to improve performance or comply with new standards
• Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
