Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Low Voltage Technician to join our network of local stores. You will help install, maintain, and upgrade low-voltage systems while upholding safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Certified in low voltage systems with up-to-date credentials.
• Experience with fire alarm or networked security systems preferred.
• Safety training and OSHA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure installations and repairs meet regulations and standards.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform system upgrades to improve performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers.

Education

Technical training or certification in low voltage systems

BICSI Installer Certification

CompTIA certifications for networking

Manufacturer-specific certifications (Honeywell, Axis, Bosch)

OSHA 10- or 30-hour certification/training

NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification
