Job summary
Kamco Lock Solutions is seeking a licensed low voltage technician to join our field team. The ideal candidate will have strong installation, service, and troubleshooting experience with commercial or residential security systems, including access control and intercom systems.
The role focuses on hands-on field work, reading wiring diagrams, and performing programming and configuration to ensure optimal system functionality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical education preferred.
- Licensing: Valid Class D License.
- Strong installation, service, and troubleshooting experience in commercial or residential security systems.
- Hands-on experience with access control wiring, installation, and programming.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial low-voltage systems.
- Install, wire, troubleshoot, and program access control, intercom, and related low-voltage systems.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, plans, and system documentation.
- Diagnose complex system and wiring issues to determine and implement solutions.
- Perform system programming and configuration as required for optimal functionality.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and Kamco team.
