Deans Services in Maine is seeking a Licensed Lawn Care Applicator to join our on-site team. You will apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides on properties along your route using hand and powered equipment, while maintaining safety and client communication.

This role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, a wage range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour (up to $27/hour for experienced technicians), paid training from day one, and a strong track record of internal advancement in a fast-growing

Description

$3,000 sign-on bonus for licensed turf applicators!! ($1,000 paid after 30 days of service and $2,000 paid after 60 days of service)

Essential Functions:

• Working individually or with a crew to provide lawn care services to all properties on assigned route. Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for pest and weed control in lawn and ornamentals.
• Unload and load equipment at each property, remove loose trash and debris from landscape area prior to servicing area.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines including local ordinances. Keep scheduled appointments with customers, as applicable.
• Interact and ask questions of clients if they are present when the job is completed, to determine client concerns and existing conditions. Sell additional services to existing and prospective clients.
• Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties.

Wage Range: $20.00-$22.00 per hour. Up to $27/hour for experienced technicians. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.
