Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a qualified electrician to repair, maintain, and install electrical systems across district facilities. You will work on motors, wiring, panels, lighting, and control systems, ensuring code compliance and high-quality workmanship.

The position requires a Utah Journeyman license, two years of related education/experience, and a valid driver's license. You will supervise apprentices, coordinate with school staff, and contribute to safe, reliable district

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or equivalent and two years of formal education.
Utah Journeyman Commercial Electrician license required.
Valid driver's license required.
Knowledge of building and safety codes including OSHA, EPA, MSDS, NEC, and ADA.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair electrical equipment and circuitry in school facilities.
Use electrical test equipment to diagnose and repair faults.
Plan and install electrical service for portable buildings.
Coordinate with leadman, school and district officials on repairs.
Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available for projects.
Supervise apprentices and evaluate performance.
Maintain truck inventory and purchasing compliance.
