Generator Supercenter, Inc. is the nation’s leader in backup power solutions and seeks a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our installation and service teams. You will wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems, ensuring safe, code-compliant work for residential and light commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches).
• Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components.
• Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems.
• Use electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safely.
• Ensure all installations meet local and national electrical codes.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
