Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. seeks a Licensed Journeyman Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvements in California. The role requires traveling to various sites and may include overnight shifts.

The candidate will install wiring, conduits, and control systems in line with project plans and safety codes. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, building panels, and coordinating with foremen to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the DIR.
• Ability to commute to various jobsites.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and stairs.
• Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure conduit and cabling (EMT, PVC, MC, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, Romex).
• Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components per specs and codes.
• Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical installation issues and malfunctions.
• Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred).
• Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
