CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Responsible for installing electrical systems in commercial construction markets at job sites and small/medium project locations. Responsible for supervising and coordinating assigned helper/apprentice electricians on a per-job basis. Promotes excellent customer relations by interacting with customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Report to the project worksite on time and prepared to work.
  2. Show willingness to learn and develop electrical skills.
  3. Apply electrical and construction principles to solve design and modification problems.
  4. Complete work according to local codes and stay current with NEC revisions.
  5. Follow company policies and procedures.
  6. Meet daily commitments and stay on schedule as directed by the foreman.
  7. Assist with loading materials, trenching, wiring, and other tasks.
  8. Maintain respectful interactions with customers, trades personnel, vendors, and colleagues.
  9. Keep the job site clean and organized.
  10. Complete and submit paperwork such as timecards.
  11. Follow and enforce safety policies and training.
  12. Troubleshoot common electrical systems, including services, feeders, and branch circuits.
  13. Plan installations to minimize waste, ensure accessibility, and meet safety standards.
  14. Prepare sketches and follow diagrams or blueprints for wiring and equipment placement.
  15. Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and install conduit.
  16. Splice wires and connect wiring to fixtures and equipment.
  17. Install control and distribution devices.
  18. Connect power cables and install grounding leads.
  19. Monitor equipment functioning to detect hazards and necessary adjustments.
  20. Repair faulty systems or equipment.
  21. Perform small electrical projects as a service electrician.
  22. Travel is required
