Assurant Renters Solutions is seeking a Licensed Insurance Specialist with a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is not your typical call center role—our Insurance Specialists are empowered problem-solvers who thrive on helping customers navigate their insurance needs with confidence and care.

Projected start date: January 2026

This is a full-time position. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle high volume inbound calls daily from policyholders and clients, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries related to policies, billing, endorsements, and claims with professionalism and empathy.
  • Process and issue insurance documents including policies, certificates, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Investigate and resolve premium discrepancies, system issues, and processing errors with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Navigate multiple systems and software platforms simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
Basic Qualifications
  • Property and Casualty Insurance Producer/General or Personal Lines License (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role within the insurance industry.
  • Proven ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining quality and professionalism.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and the ability to learn and navigate new systems quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
