Hudson United Insurance in New Jersey is seeking an Insurance Agent to join our team, handling both personal and commercial lines. You will assess client needs, present tailored coverage, and build lasting relationships while pursuing sales targets.

Responsibilities include prospecting, educating clients on products, and maintaining compliance through our agency system. A strong customer-service mindset and knowledge of insurance products are essential.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license.
• 1-3 years experience in the insurance industry in sales or customer service.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting and industry operations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and sell personal and commercial insurance policies for new and existing customers.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers by being professional and efficient.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations and changes to insurance products.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance client service.
• Proactively work lead lists, generate a pipeline of prospects, process quotes, update files, follow up, sell and process applications.
• Utilize systems properly for customer retention, acquisition and compliance.
• Educate customers about products offered by the agency.
• Set and pursue sales goals to expand the client base and increase revenue.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and growth opportunities.
