Job summary

Matic is seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent, Retention in Columbus to focus on existing customers and renewals. You will advise on coverages, process endorsements, and support claims-related items while pursuing cross-sell opportunities. A Personal Lines license is required.

We offer a base hourly salary of $24.23–$32.69, a monthly bonus target of $3,500, stock options, unlimited PTO, comprehensive benefits, and strong promotion potential within a collaborative team.

The Importance of this Role

We are looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent, Retention on our customer service team focusing on existing customers to increase insurance policy sales and retention by offering advocacy for our clients, selling additional insurance products, and providing rewritten policies, when applicable. In this role, reporting to the Manager of Retention, you will be tasked with conducting renewal and new business reviews, processing endorsements, providing guidance to policyholders on claims-related items and selling additional insurance products to our existing Customers. This role requires an active Property and Casualty or Personal Lines License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct renewal reviews, advise on insurance coverages, answer questions, and re-shop when requested
• Ability to quickly build rapport with clients over phone, email, and text
• Setting and completing tasks with organized notes while following consistent processes
• Run sales process effectively with organized notes and tasks for follow-ups
• Provide sales with quality in mind, following call quality processes
• Clearly articulate Matic value proposition to the client
• Achieve sales targets for calls, cross-sales and retention

Requirements

• Must have active Personal Lines License in your resident state (Property and Casualty License Preferred)
• Must be a self-starter with the desire to learn and grow
• Must not be adverse to a sales-driven mentality
