American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking an Electrician to perform and assist in factory, agricultural and operations maintenance activities in compliance with National, State and Local Electrical Codes. The role emphasizes safety, training of non-licensed personnel, and maintaining an efficient process pace.

The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman’s Class A license (Master preferred), is able to work with up to 12,470-volt equipment, can operate SAP CMMS for maintenance records, and can program

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman’s Class A license required; Master preferred.
• Must stay current with technical knowledge and licensing requirements.
• Must be able to work with up to 12,470 volt 3-phase equipment and switch gears.
• Must possess or obtain forklift certification.
• Candidates must pass Safety Screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in factory, agricultural and operations maintenance activities in compliance with electrical codes.
• Test for electrical licensing and maintain certification.
• Repair, replace and install generators online.
• Use SAP CMMS to record and access maintenance information.
• Program, troubleshoot, and operate PLCs and interlocking systems.
