Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating and air conditioning systems.
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC equipment.
- Complete work orders efficiently.
- Inspect completed jobs for cleanliness.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Perform general maintenance to keep vehicles and tools in good condition.
Required Skills and Experience
- Valid Connecticut trade license (D1, D2, S1, S2, S10, SM2, or similar)
- Ability to operate computers and software
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional demeanor and customer service commitment
- High moral standards and work ethic
- Organizational and time management skills
Eligibility Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Employment and education verification
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Post-offer pre-employment drug testing
Physical Requirements
- Work in extreme weather conditions
- Work safely in confined spaces and at heights
- Ability to bend, crawl, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
