MANCHESTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS is seeking a Licensed HVAC Mechanic in the Buildings & Grounds Department to perform installation, preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems across facilities. The role requires a CT HVAC license, 4+ years in HVAC and the ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

The position, union contract Maintenance, shift 1st, reports to the Maintenance Technician Supervisor. Overtime and callbacks may be required.

Formación

• Must have 4+ years of HVAC trade experience.
• Valid CT HVAC license required.
• Able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Must pass I-9 verification and provide documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on motors, starters, and MCCs.
• Repair pumps, fans, heat exchangers, valves, and HVAC equipment.
• Calibrate and repair pneumatic and electric control circuits.
• Direct the work of assistants and be ready for overtime during emergencies.
