Job summary

PINNACLE PROPERTY INSPECTION SERVIC in Chicagoland, IL seeks a detail-oriented Home Inspector to perform comprehensive inspections of residential and commercial properties. You’ll deliver high-quality digital reports and focus on customer service, with all necessary tools provided via company van and equipment.

Role requires an active Illinois license, valid driver’s license, and the ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Home Inspector License issued by the IDFPR (Required).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong verbal communication and exceptional customer service skills.
• Comfortable utilizing mobile technology and report-writing applications.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and walk on sloped roofs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical and visual inspections of residential structures.
• Evaluate roofing, foundations, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and interiors.
• Navigate roofs, crawl spaces, attics, and climb ladders safely.
• Produce clear, accurate, and prompt digital inspection reports.
• Communicate safety hazards and material defects clearly to buyers and agents.
• Maintain strict compliance with Illinois Home Inspector License Act standards.
