Carriage Services is seeking a Funeral Director/Embalmer to join our team in Massachusetts. The role involves meeting with families to arrange personalized memorial services, handling documentation per laws, and performing services with embalming duties at our care center locations.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience, a valid Funeral Director/Embalmer license or license endorsement, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Funeral Director/Embalmer.
• Valid Funeral Director/Embalmer license or ability to obtain by endorsement in the state where business is located.
• Willingness to participate in growing market through community involvement; and
• Valid state issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meets with client families to listen and arrange personalized memorial services.
• Ensures timely and appropriate document filling in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conducts and attends services regularly.
• Maintains open and effective communication and accurate, up-to-date client files.
• Understands and implements company-provided training.
• Works on-call/first call with embalming skills in care center locations.
• Leads employees to ensure high standards of professionalism and service.
