Finley Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer I - OSP FTTH to lead planning, design, and oversight of fiber-to-the-home networks. This remote role requires US residency, a P.E. license, and 5–10 years of telecom experience.

You will stamp designs, review drawings, manage field surveys, and coordinate with utilities to deliver scalable broadband solutions with safe and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• FTTH architectures knowledge essential.
• P.E. license in at least one US state required.
• 5–10 years in OSP fiber design or telecom engineering.
• Experience with aerial/underground design and permitting.

Responsabilités

• Design and engineer FTTH outside plant networks (routing, conduits, splices).
• Prepare construction drawings, BOM, permits, and cost estimates.
• Review and stamp designs; provide engineering seal where required.
• Oversee field surveys, route validation, and make-ready engineering.
• Coordinate with utilities and ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers and respond to RFIs.
