Job summary

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and HIPAA-compliant records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive forensic evaluations to determine competency.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Maintain clinical documentation for treatment planning and progress.
• Travel to attorney offices to conduct evaluations when required.

Carter Psychology Center is hiring for multiple positions!Carter Psychology Center is seeking a dedicated andcompassionate

Licensed Forensic Psychologist

to join our growing behavioral health team in Bradenton,Florida. This role offers the opportunity to provideevidence-based therapy and assessment to a diverse outpatientpopulation while maintaining a healthy work–life balance in ahybrid schedule that combines in-person sessions withremote/telehealth care. Forensic psychologists may also conductcourt-ordered evaluations and collaborate with legalprofessionals.

The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in mental healthcounseling, clinical assessment, and (not required) forensicevaluation and is comfortable working across age groups.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive forensic evaluations to determinecompetency.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records incompliance with HIPAA regulations and document patientprogress thoroughly.
• Maintain clinical documentation.
• Willing/Able to travel to attorney offices to conductevaluations if required.

Qualifications

Required

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active independent license in Florida as LicensedPsychologist.
• Completion of DCF requirements (or near to completion ofrequirements) for expert witness in State of Florida.
• Competence with clinical and/or forensic assessment andtreatment planning.
• Comfort using technology for telehealth sessions andelectronic medical records.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and theability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Outpatient private practice in Bradenton, with a hybridmodel (in-person and telehealth).
