Job summary

Eastern Fire, a division of the DU Family of Companies, is seeking a Licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector in Auburn, ME to inspect, test, and maintain water-based fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA standards. The role involves documenting results, communicating needed improvements, and interacting professionally with customers and authorities having jurisdiction.

Qualified applicants may hold a Maine license, with NICET preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Maine Fire Sprinkler Inspector license required.
• NICET certification in Water-Based Systems Layout or Inspection & Testing preferred.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 25 and related fire protection codes and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA 25 and applicable codes.
• Accurately document inspection results and prepare detailed reports for customers.
• Identify system deficiencies and communicate recommended corrective actions.
• Interact professionally with customers, building owners, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures on every job site.
