Requirements of a Licensed Fire Alarm Technician

1. Must be familiar with NFPA 72 standards and codes
2. Skills include the ability to read blueprints, terminate and test devices
3. Provide service call and instruction to the end user
4. Capable of leading small to large crews on new installations
5. Capable of providing full inspection / re-certifications on existing systems including customer interaction, training, etc.
6. Willing to work in tight, confined areas
7. Maintain a safety conscious work environment
8. Maintain reliable transportation to get to and from the job sites
9. Must have both a phone number and email address
10. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
11. Must have a valid driver’s license
