Job summary

The Piedmont Group is seeking a motivated Financial Advisor in Montgomery, AL to build a personal book of business through comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services. You will develop client relationships, deliver personalized recommendations, and maintain high ethical standards in a performance-based environment.

Ideal candidates hold necessary FINRA licenses and Life/Health insurance credentials, with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required (or Series 63/65).
• Active Life and Health Insurance License required.
• License assistance offered if not yet licensed at time of hire.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or financial advising preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to develop and grow a client base.
• High ethical standards and commitment to acting in clients' best interests.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis.
• Develop customized financial strategies based on each client's goals and risk tolerance.
• Recommend investment, retirement, insurance, and wealth management solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular reviews and ongoing service.
• Stay current on financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Meet or exceed established sales and production goals.
