Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager/Plumbing in Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventive maintenance across a regional scope. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring safe, efficient buildings for associates and customers.

Travel ~50% within the region; required licenses must be kept current. The role offers a sign-on bonus, extensive benefits including 401(k) match, stock plans, and education support.

Qualifications

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance experience (3–5 years optimal).
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
• Leadership skills – able to lead, motivate, and develop others.
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving – root cause and breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the region (approx. 50% or more) and maintain contractor licenses in-state.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors when required.
• Provide reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and compliance with codes.
• Participate in training to stay current with regulatory requirements.
