Job summary

Arbour Counseling Services, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is seeking Licensed Clinicians for Per Diem, Part Time and Full Time roles in our Worcester outpatient program. The position focuses on child and adolescent therapy, including individual, group, and family sessions, with flexibility for evenings.

Qualifications

• LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure or eligibility.
• Evening availability as a requirement for this role.
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field.
• Internship completed during Master’s Program (to obtain 45 credits).
• CANS Certification preferred; can be obtained after hiring if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other medical service providers, state agencies and community resources.
• Manage own schedule and ensure timely documentation.

Education

LICENSED EVENING CHILD & ADOLESCENT OUTPATIENT CLINICIAN

Paid 6 week ramp-up period available for new Full Time and Part Time hires to ensure a successful transition as you build your caseload

Pay: $30.00-$38.00/hour

Schedule/Location: Per Diem, Part Time, Full Time, On-Site, Evenings

About the Role:

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer Per Diem, Part Time, and Full Time child and adolescent opportunities for Licensed Clinicians in our Outpatient Program in Worcester, MA. Our Outpatient counseling allows our patients to receive treatment options and support within a much more free and open time schedule. While programs are structured, our outpatient counseling is best for those stepping down from a higher level of care, seeking limited treatment options or testing out treatment for the first time. Arbour offers individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our Outpatient program.

The Master's Level Outpatient Clinician delivers direct services to clients, and may provide individual, group, family, or other authorized therapy services within our outpatient center; participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensures that any treatments delivered are within the scope of the therapist’s training, experience and general level of competence.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university


• Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits


• CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)


• Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills


• Familiarity with support groups


• Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight


• Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds


• Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping


• Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation


• Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre‑employment documentation
