Job summary

Hello Sugar in Ohio seeks waxing specialists to perform full body waxing and sugaring for diverse clients. You will educate clients on skin care during services, build strong client relationships, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.

We offer flexible schedules, employee discounts, training, and opportunities for advancement. Licensure in esthetics or cosmetology is required to work in this role with a compensation range of $16–$25 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current esthetician or cosmetology license in Ohio.
• Waxing and skin care experience encouraged; sugaring background is a nice perk.
• Ability to build clientele and maintain a positive, warm team culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide education-oriented skin services (skin care education during waxing).
• Perform full body waxing & sugaring for men and women.
• Conduct skin and brow consultations prior to waxing.
• Maintain a sanitary workstation and assist with sanitation throughout the salon.
• Sell memberships and products; attend education meetings; develop rapport with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide education-oriented skin services (we teach our clients about proper skin care when we wax)
• Perform full body waxing & sugaring services on men and women
• Skin Consultations
• Brow Consultations prior to waxing
• Maintain a sanitary work station and assist with sanitation throughout the salon
• Sell memberships and products
• Attend employee education & development meetings (monthly or bi-monthly)
• Develop rapport quickly with clientele

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus tips and commission
