Job Description

Form & Function Aesthetics and Wellness is a physician-led practice combining advanced aesthetics with wellness, regenerative treatments, metabolic health, hormone optimization, weight management, and longevity-focused care.

We are seeking a skilled, personable, and motivated Licensed Esthetician to join our growing Katonah practice. The ideal candidate has a passion for skincare, skin rejuvenation, and helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals through personalized treatments and education.

This is an exciting opportunity for an esthetician who wants to expand beyond traditional facials and work with advanced aesthetic technologies in a collaborative, physician-led environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive skincare consultations and assessments to understand patient concerns, goals, and treatment needs.
• Provide customized facial treatments and skin rejuvenation services based on individual skin types and concerns.
• Perform aesthetic treatments within the scope of your license, training, and applicable New York State regulations.
• Educate patients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and treatment plans to support long-term skin health.
• Assist in developing personalized treatment plans for concerns such as skin texture, tone, fine lines, acne, and overall skin quality.
• Recommend appropriate skincare products and home-care regimens to complement in-office treatments.
• Build strong, lasting patient relationships through excellent customer service, communication, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation, patient records, and before-and-after photographs in accordance with practice protocols.
• Follow all infection control, sanitation, safety, and treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with our physician-led team and other providers to support a comprehensive patient experience.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, professional treatment environment.
• Contribute to patient retention, rebooking, and the overall growth of the aesthetics department.

What We're Looking For

• Active New York State Esthetics License in good standing.
• Prior professional experience as an esthetician preferred.
• Hands-on experience performing facials and professional skincare treatments.
• Strong knowledge of skincare products, skin types, common skin concerns, and treatment contraindications.
• Experience with advanced facials, chemical peels, radiofrequency, or other energy-based devices is a plus, provided the candidate is appropriately trained and authorized to perform the services.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional bedside manner.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients.
• Comfortable discussing treatment recommendations, skincare products, and appropriate follow-up services.
• Detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of care.
• A genuine interest in advanced aesthetics, skin health, emerging technologies, and continued professional education.
• A team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new treatments and technologies.
• Willingness to contribute to the growth of an expanding practice through marketing initiatives, community outreach, networking, and patient engagement.
