Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking a Licensed Electrician / Installation Technician for the FAA Radar System Replacement program. You will oversee electrical installation, grounding, and power integration at FAA facilities nationwide, with remote work and required travel.

The role requires an active electrician license, 2–4 years of commercial/industrial experience, and the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship or trade program.
• 2–4 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Active licensed electrician certification required.
• Ability to travel to FAA sites nationwide.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and local codes.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed electrical installation activities for radar room equipment and infrastructure.
• Install, terminate, and test power cabling for radar, communications, and support equipment.
• Coordinate with FAA facility personnel for connection to site power switchboards and distribution systems.
• Install and connect grounding and earthing systems and surge protection devices.
• Support power connection testing, verification, and documentation for system energization.
• Assist with electrical aspects of antenna installations and start-up activities.
• Identify and resolve electrical installation issues encountered in the field.
• Prepare installation documentation and asbuilt information.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and FAA requirements.
