Job summary

U.S. National Whitewater Center is seeking a qualified Electrician in Charlotte, NC to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems across a year-round, high-traffic public facility.

This on-site, full-time role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports guest experiences. The ideal candidate holds a North Carolina electrical license with commercial/industrial electrical experience, strong tool skills, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and safety manuals.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician in North Carolina.
• Experience in commercial/industrial electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and manuals.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to safety rules and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, and repair electrical features of the facility.
• Manage a dynamic task list and preventative maintenance schedule.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with building codes at various levels.
• Document information in preventive maintenance records.
• Other duties as assigned.
