Position Summary
Plan, lay-out, install, test and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, motors, equipment and control systems in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.

Primary Responsibilities And Duties
- Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determine best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations
- Install control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place
- Test and start up systems and circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety
- Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to identify hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
- Pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
- Work with high and low voltage systems
- Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems
- Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical tools
- Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities; determine time, costs, resources, or materials needed
- Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with plans and specifications, address deficiencies, and take corrective actions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and tools
- Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions; effective communication skills
Requirements
- Constant movement on construction/industrial sites; ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Work irregular hours, including weekends, overtime, and holidays
- Use of ladders, mechanical platforms, manlifts, scaffolds, and ability to climb and maintain balance
- Work in confined, cluttered, and uneven environments
- Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions
- Move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must have required tools and Electrical License in OK or Reciprocity States
- Adhere to safety and project rules; pass drug, medical, and background checks
