Position Overview

TPL Energy is looking for a Licensed Electrician with solar installation experience to join our growing field operations team. This role is key to ensuring the safe and code-compliant installation of residential and commercial solar systems. Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work on photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, including wiring, conduit bending, and inverter setup
• Ensure all electrical components are installed to code and pass inspections
• Collaborate with solar installers and site supervisors to complete projects efficiently
• Troubleshoot, test, and commission solar energy systems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Prioritize safety and compliance on every job site

Requirements

• Valid electrician’s license (state-specific)
• Experience with solar or electrical installations preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
• Comfortable working on roofs and with heights
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
