Mr. Electric of NW Houston is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman to join our team for residential and light commercial wiring projects. You will work from a provided service vehicle, diagnose issues, and deliver safe, high-quality electrical solutions for local families.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of residential electrical experience, with troubleshooting focus.
• Licensed Texas Electrical License (Residential Wireman or Journeyman).

Responsibilities

• Field operations: install, maintain, and repair residential wiring and lighting.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose electrical issues using testing devices.
• Customer communication: provide options and clear explanations to homeowners.
• Van management: keep vehicle organized and stocked; inventory quarterly.
• Follow standard procedures to deliver quality results.

What We’re Seeking

• Licensing:Valid Texas Electrical License (Residential WiremanorJourneyman’s License).


• Experience:3–5 years of residential electrical experience, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and service (light commercial experience is a plus!).


• Quality Craftsmanship:Clean, top-tier work executed strictly toNEC codeon every single job.


• Professional Presence:A tidy, well-groomed appearance with a clean, neat uniform (tucked in!).


• Mindset:A positive, proactive attitude; able to work autonomously while following our best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Operations:Work independently out of your provided service van to install, maintain, and repair residential wiring, control systems, and lighting.


• Troubleshooting:Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices; inspect transformers and circuit breakers for faults.


• Customer Connection:Provide excellent, clear communication with homeowners, offering options and solutions so they can choose what’s best for their home.


• Van Management:Keep your assigned service van clean, organized, and properly stocked; conduct quarterly material inventories.


• Process & Execution:Consistently follow Mr. Electric’s proven system to deliver exceptional results and elevate your own performance.
