Job summary
McKim & Creed, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to support the Buildings, Energy and Infrastructure Group.
You will provide technical and design services for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm projects across institutional, commercial, municipal and industrial facilities. You will interact with clients, perform preliminary evaluations, prepare reports, develop construction drawings and technical specifications, and submit permits for electrical
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial/Systems Engineering and 4+ years in Electrical Engineering.
- Arc flash analysis and coordination studies using SKM software are required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and SKM for design/drafting.
- OH PE registration or ability to obtain via reciprocity is required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and design services for power distribution, lighting and fire alarm design projects.
- Interact with clients, prepare evaluations, generate reports and produce design drawings/specifications.
- Prepare permit submittals and project documentation.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects through to completion within time and budget constraints.
