Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Electrical Apprentice to join our electrical division.

The apprentice must complete the required 2,000 on-the-job hours for each year of the program and meet the minimum qualifications including enrollment in an apprentice program, an active state apprentice license, and a high school diploma or GED. Benefits package includes medical, dental, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program.
• Have an active state apprentice license.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to climb ladders several times in a row.
• The ability to work with hands above your head with tools.
• The ability to lift tools and equipment above your head several times.
• The ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• The ability to stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Be a self-starter and be dependable.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
