We are looking to hire a Licensed Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This is an excellent opportunity to use all your expanded functions! This position will be based out of our St. Paul location.

Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates is an American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Certified specialty dental office for infants, toddlers, big kids, pre-teens, and teens with locations throughout the Twin Cities including St. Paul, Fridley, North Oaks, and Eagan. Who We Are Looking For

Responsibilities

  • Present the patient to the doctor.
  • Clean the patient’s teeth.
  • Fluoride application.
  • Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).
  • Provide hygiene and diet education.
  • Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital.
  • Take impressions.
  • Schedule follow-up exams.
  • Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
  • Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
  • Parents consults-discuss treatment plans.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments.
  • Lab work.
  • Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.
  • Help decorate office for birthdays and holidays.
  • Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
  • Write letters to be sent to referrals.
