Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking a FullTime License Dental Assistant (LDA) to support dentists in delivering urgent, quality care. You will perform patient care, chair-side assistance, and some laboratory tasks while upholding infection control standards.

The role emphasizes patient education, precision in radiography, and adherence to state and federal safety regulations, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; state certification/licensing required as mandated
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by the state
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors for efficient care
• At the dentist's direction, perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
