Job summary

Apple Tree Dental seeks a Licensed Dental Assistant in Hawley, MN to join a patient-focused team. You will support clinicians with chairside care, take and develop X-rays, and contribute to a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Applicants must hold an LDA credential in Minnesota, complete an accredited dental assisting program, and maintain CPR/BLS certification, with strong English communication and teamwork skills. A collaborative, community-minded setting awaits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited dental assisting course.
• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.
• DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside tasks and preparation of dental materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and treatment plans in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
