Job summary

Lynden Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Customs Broker in Atlanta, GA to support our International Operations team. You will manage customs clearance end-to-end, ensuring compliance and timely guidance on duties and exemptions.

The role requires a current U.S. Customs Broker License, related import experience, and TSA STA clearance. This is a safety sensitive position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB).
• High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience in U.S. importing functions.
• Ability to possess and maintain a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA).
• Extended sitting and standard office duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations under 19 CFR 163 and company guidelines.
• Classify and declare entries using HTSUS codes, including trade remedies and AD/CVD requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, CBP, and PGAs regarding entry matters.
• Provide timely and accurate regulatory advice, including duty rates and exemptions.
• Coordinate transport from port of entry to final destination with Lynden operations teams.
• Generate reports from customs applications and ACE.
• Approve invoices for payment and ensure timely client remittance.
