Position Overview

Protocall Services is seeking a compassionate Licensed Crisis Counselor to provide remote crisis intervention services from Westminster, CO. The role involves supporting individuals experiencing emotional distress, assessing risk, and providing resources and safety planning.

Qualifications
  • MSW, PsyD, PhD, or M.A./M.S. in behavioral health from an accredited program
  • Active license in CO (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health or social services
Location & Requirements
  • Fully remote in Colorado
  • Dedicated, HIPAA-compliant home workspace with secure internet connection
Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Engage with individuals via phone, providing emotional support
  • Assess risk and document interactions thoroughly
  • Provide resources, coping strategies, and safety planning
  • Intervene in emergencies appropriately
Training & Schedule

Initial six-week paid virtual training, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST. Post-training schedules will be coordinated with the scheduling department. Flexibility to work holidays and weekends is required.
