We are telephonic first responders for: Community Mental Health Centers, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics, Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organizations, college and university counseling centers, and Employee Assistance Programs.

You are compassionate, empathetic, and possess excellent communication skills. You can actively listen and connect with individuals in crisis, providing support over the phone, text, or other methods. You thrive in high-pressure environments, stay calm, employ effective crisis intervention techniques, and have a solution-focused mindset. Multitasking, managing intense calls, and navigating computer systems efficiently are essential. A background in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral healthcare is required, with experience in crisis support highly valued. Upholding confidentiality and maintaining a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace is mandatory. You are committed to providing unwavering support and making a positive impact.
As part of our 24/7 crisis call center, flexibility to work holidays and weekends is required. The role begins with a paid six-week virtual training program, involving book learning, group sessions, roleplay, and live call-taking to develop your skills. Successful completion is necessary for continued employment.
Six Week Cohort Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST.
Post Cohort: After training, you will start your regular schedule, coordinated during onboarding.
