Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. seeks a Licensed Crane Truck Operator / Class A CDL Delivery Driver to support our mechanical, fire protection, and HVAC services.

Responsibilities include operating a crane truck, delivering materials to construction sites, securing loads, and maintaining logs. Qualifications include a BTF crane certification, unrestricted CDL-A, and 2+ years of driving. OT/overnight shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Crane Operator Certification (OSHA/NCCCO) for Boom Truck—Fixed Cab (BTF) required.
• Unrestricted CDL Class A license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of driving experience required.
• DOT Medical Card preferred/required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record per company standards.
• Current Class A CDL License required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• MS Office experience (Word/Excel) expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane truck and boom truck per job needs.
• Drive semi-truck with 53’ trailer and ensure safe, on-time deliveries.
• Verify and secure loads prior to transport.
• Inspect trucks before and after trips; report any defects.
• Transport materials to construction sites and unload as required.
• Maintain truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading and inventory as needed.
• Perform basic roadside repairs and keep vehicle clean.
• Convey materials from receiving to storage and organize items.
• Prepare lift plans for crane operation.
• Willingness to work overtime or overnight shifts when required.

Job Title: Licensed Crane Truck Operator / Class A CDL Delivery Driver

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Licensed Crane Truck Operator / Class A CDL Delivery Driver Driver.

Supports the company by operating our crane truck and driving truck transporting materials and equipment to specific construction job sites performing the following duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to operate a crane / boom truck as needed.
• Ability to operate semi-truck with 53’ trailer / Unrestricted CDL Class A
• Verifies and secures loads.
• Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck conditions.
• Drives truck to assigned destination(s).
• Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Fills work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Maintains cleanliness for shop/warehouse/storage yard/parking lot/offices as needed.
• Utilizes tow behind trailer to make deliveries and pickups.
• Delivers and picks up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings.
• Ability to understand and write a lift plan for crane operation.
• Must be able to work OT and off hour shifts as required. (possible overnights on occasion)

Qualifications

• Crane Operator Certification (OSHA/NCCCO) for Boom Truck—Fixed Cab (BTF)
• Unrestricted CDL Class A.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years driving experience is required.
• Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
• Possess or ability to obtain DOT Medical Card is required.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record that meets or exceeds Company standards found in the Fleet Policy is required.
• Must hold a current Class A CDL License.
• Previous experience operating a forklift is required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
• Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications is required.
