SaVida Health in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an independently licensed clinician (LCSW or LPC) to provide mental health and substance use counseling in an outpatient setting. The role includes intake, psychosocial assessments and treatment planning in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include documenting clinical content, coordinating with collaborative providers, and reviewing client progress quarterly to update treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work or allied health and LCSW/LPC in good standing.
• One year of experience in substance misuse treatment.
• One year of experience in mental health counseling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with individual, couples and/or group counseling.
• Excellent verbal, written and computer skills; EMRs, MS Word, MS Excel preferred.
• Bilingual/bicultural preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuity of quality care with documentation and communication to collaborative providers.
• Provide referrals for alternative levels of care as needed.
• Advocate for clients to coordinate required services or crisis intervention.
• Document all clinical content per agency requirements.
• Review client progress quarterly and update treatment plans as goals change.
