Job summary

Gastroenterology Atlanta LLC is seeking a part-time independent contractor behavioral coach to help clients with weight loss and personal growth using CBT principles. Flexible hours with strong potential to grow into a full-time role as the program expands.

Lead individual and group sessions, develop daily plans, troubleshoot challenges, and collaborate with the medical team to integrate behavioral support with clinical care. Atlanta-based or willing to work in-person in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced behavioral coach passionate about helping people create lasting change?

This position starts as a part-time independent contractor role with flexible hours and strong potential to grow into full-time as our program expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group coaching sessions using CBT principles
• Guide clients as they develop and follow daily plans for nutrition, fitness, positive psychology, and personal growth
• Help clients troubleshoot challenges, manage setbacks, and build sustainable habits
• Foster a warm, encouraging atmosphere that empowers clients on their weight loss and personal growth journeys
• Collaborate with the medical team to integrate behavioral support with clinical care
• Participate in ongoing training in our specific LifePlan coaching style and curricula

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven background in CBT, weight loss coaching/behavioral change, and wellness coaching
• Personal Qualities: Warm, empathetic communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others succeed
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; ability to build trust quickly with clients
• Team Player: Comfortable collaborating with medical professionals and open to training in our evidence-based, holistic approach (integrating personal growth principles from Maxwell, Covey, Brown, and others)
• Other: Passion for nutrition, gut health, and sustainable lifestyle change is a big plus. Atlanta-based (or willing to work in-person in the Atlanta area)
