Paul Mitchell The School Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Cosmetology Instructor to bring real-world beauty industry experience into a vibrant, student-centered classroom and clinic.

You will teach using the Paul Mitchell curriculum, mentor students toward graduation and state licensure, monitor performance, and help maintain a positive learning environment with professional standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold Missouri Cosmetology license.
• Missouri Instructor license or willingness to obtain.
• Professional salon experience with verifiable references.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Passion for mentoring and education.

Responsibilities

• Instruct in cosmetology theory and hands-on clinic using the Paul Mitchell curriculum.
• Mentor students toward graduation and state licensure.
• Monitor performance and ensure compliance with state board and school policies.

THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A LICENSED COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

As a full-time Cosmetology Instructor, you will enjoy a schedule with morning, afternoon, evening, and Saturday availability. Your workdays will be consistent and predictable, and you'll benefit from regular monthly staff training days, providing both structure and ongoing professional growth.

As a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor, you will guide future professionals through hands-on classroom and clinic instruction using the Paul Mitchell curriculum, reinforcing professionalism and technical excellence at every turn. You will support students as they prepare for graduation and state board licensure, offering mentorship and feedback that fosters both personal and professional development. By monitoring performance and maintaining compliance with state board and school policies, you will help create a positive, respectful learning environment where accountability and confidence thrive.
