CAPSTONE CONSTRUCTION, INC. seeks an experienced, licensed contractor to lead field operations across a growing Bay Area portfolio. The role combines hands-on work in residential units with building and managing a crew, while coordinating pricing, budgeting, and strategic growth.

You will run day-to-day field operations, oversee repairs and remodels, and coordinate with an affiliated property-management partner. The path toward ownership aligns with company milestones and performance rewards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on construction experience and strong knowledge of building codes
• California B General Contractor license or eligibility is strongly preferred
• Experience estimating, bidding, and managing construction contracts
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and subcontractors simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with client-facing experience
• Valid driver’s license, transportation, and own tools

Responsibilities

• Handle repairs, turnovers, and remodels across our properties, hands-on
• Run day-to-day field operations: scheduling, estimating, job walks, quality control
• Manage subcontractors and build an in-house crew over time
• Work with leadership on pricing, budgeting, and growth strategy
• Travel regularly across the Bay Area and Sacramento corridor, with long drives and early starts
